About the Artist
Clare Plumley: "The 'things i don't need notebook' (zine) started life as a response to useless rubbish found at the back of drawers such as dead fairy lights, keys and used corks. As the project developed I started to explore the other things that we don't need, like the memories that random objects can trigger, the symbolism of the drawers that contain aforementioned rubbish, useless consumer products and unhelpful states of mind. I am launching a crowdsourcing strand to the project on 3 September."
