Georgina Rose-Shire
Georgina Rose-Shire is a Bristol-based materials artist who trained at the University of Brighton. She creates unique handcrafted jewellery from stamps. These stamps are carefully selected from albums belonging to her family & she is always keeping an eye out for rare delights on her travels.
The stamp is mounted on walnut or oak, which is lovingly sanded and varnished. Topped with a copper brooch back and displayed on a miniature envelope. She has a passion and flair for 'making' with a proactive attitude towards the creative arts. Her multidisciplinary career includes prop making, shop signs and furniture rejuvenation.
