About the Artist
Esther McManus is an illustrator and printmaker based in London. She loves the great outdoors and her work is often driven by trips to the forest, days spent at the allotment or memories of living by the seaside. Her drawings and prints are fueled by a passion for making but they are also consistently informed by the experiences she has had in places, both real and imaginary. She likes to recreate and evolve these places, always hoping to create a sense of place or narrative, whether using sequential imagery, illustrated rhymes or single panel images.
